2. Scope

This notice explains how we process personal data on Dobrovola.com (the “Site”) and applies worldwide under EU GDPR principles.

3. What data we process

  • Contact & correspondence you send us (e.g., email).
  • Newsletter data (your email, subscription status, timestamps, double‑opt‑in logs if enabled).
  • Push notifications (browser push subscription key, if you allow it).
  • Analytics data via Google Analytics 4 (only with your consent): pseudonymous events like page views, device/browser type, and a randomly generated identifier associated with GA4 cookies (see the Cookie Policy). GA4 uses first‑party cookies to distinguish users and sessions.
  • Server logs (IP address, user agent, referrer, timestamps, error diagnostics) for security and availability.

We do not intend to collect special categories of data. No on‑site user accounts.

4. Purposes & legal bases

  • Run and protect the Site (fraud prevention, diagnostics): legitimate interests.
  • Analytics/measurement (GA4): consent (no analytics cookies until you opt in).
  • Newsletter/marketing emails: consent (double opt‑in if enabled).
  • Push notifications: consent (browser permission).
  • Compliance (records of consents/requests): legal obligation / legitimate interests.

5. Retention

  • Server logs: up to 30 days.
  • GA4 event‑level data (if enabled): retained in GA4 for up to 14 months for standard properties (administratively configurable). Aggregated statistics that no longer identify individuals may be kept longer.
  • Newsletter data: until you unsubscribe; deletion or anonymization within 30 days thereafter.
  • Consent records: up to 3 years.
  • Push subscriptions: until you revoke in the browser or we detect inactivity.

6. Sharing and processors

We use service providers (processors) to operate the Site:

  • Replit — hosting/platform.
  • Google Analytics 4 (GA4) — analytics (first‑party cookies; see Cookie Policy).
  • MailerLite — email/newsletter (their embedded forms may set a small cookie; see Cookie Policy).

7. International transfers

If processing occurs outside the EEA/UK/CH (e.g., by global providers), we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and appropriate safeguards.

8. Your rights

Depending on your location, you can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and object to legitimate‑interest processing. You can withdraw consent at any time (past processing remains lawful).

You may complain to your local authority or to the Polish DPA (UODO).

9. Cookies & consent

The Site is not directed to children and is intended for users 16+.

11. Security

HTTPS/TLS, access controls, least‑privilege, and backups. No method is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data.
