1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We also use similar storage (e.g., localStorage) and service workers (for push). Cookies may be first‑party (set by us) or third‑party (set by our providers).
2. Categories we use
- Strictly necessary — Required for core functionality (security, load‑balancing, remembering your cookie choices). Always active.
- Analytics (GA4) — Help us understand usage and improve content. Enabled only with your consent.
- Marketing (newsletter UX) — Used by embedded signup forms to control pop‑up behavior. Enabled only with your consent.
3. Your choices
On first visit you see Accept all / Reject non‑essential / Customize. No non‑essential cookies are set unless you opt in. You can change your decision anytime via Cookie Preferences in the footer. (For EEA/UK/CH, consent must be legally valid per Google’s EU User Consent Policy.)
4. Cookies we currently use
A. Strictly necessary
- cookie_consent (first‑party): remembers your cookie choices. Up to 12 months.
B. Analytics — Google Analytics 4 (first‑party; set only after consent)
- _ga: distinguishes visitors; typical lifetime ~2 years.
- ga<container‑id> (e.g., G-9T086LMTHP): persists session state; typical lifetime ~2 years.
- _gid (may be set depending on configuration): short‑term user/session identification; typical lifetime ~24 hours.
Note: GA4 uses first‑party cookies
C. Marketing (newsletter pop‑up)
- mailerlite:webform:shown (first‑party): prevents re‑showing the newsletter pop‑up according to your behavior settings. Lifetime depends on form settings.
Not used currently: Google Ads/Conversion Linker. If enabled later, additional cookies (e.g., gcl* / gac*) may appear and will be described here before activation.
5. Consent records
We keep a minimal log of your consent choices (timestamp, category toggles, region signal) for up to 3 years to demonstrate compliance.
6. Push notifications (if you allow them)
Your browser stores a push subscription key (not a cookie). You can revoke permission in your browser settings.
